Mom, I'm Not a Kid Anymore: Navigating 25 Inevitable Conversations That Arrive Before You Know It by Sue Sanders

This was an enjoyable, easy memoir/parenting reflection. Sue Sanders looks back on her own childhood and compares it to some issues that face her own pre-teen daughter Lizzie. It's refreshing to read because it's not a how-to, but rather a how-it-is-for-me. There's no recommendations per se, though one could take a lesson from any of her situations if desired. As a parent of tween girls, it's nice to read a parenting book that doesn't lecture, but shares.
